His current research interests include functional differential equations, control theory, computer-assisted methods and applications. Lina F. Rakhmatullina was born on January 3, , in Tatarstan, Russia. She received the Candidate degree mathematics and physics, from Kazan State Univeristy, and the Doctor degree mathematics and physics, from Institute of Mathematics, Academy of Science of the Ukraine.

He major research interest is in the functioanl differential equations theory.
